Velocity

 

Velocity: the rate at which an object changes its position:  speed with direction.

​

The Velocity was designed and extensively tested throughout 2025 during my pursuit to build the ideal bow for competitive 3D archery: a bow that combines speed, stability, and forgiveness.

 

The deep deflex–reflex limb profile generates strong draw weight early in the draw cycle, storing energy efficiently and producing exceptional arrow speed.

The limbs are engineered for performance and durability, featuring:

• Unidirectional carbon back

• Action bamboo core

• Unidirectional carbon reinforcement

• A thin belly glass layer to absorb compressional forces

This combination delivers a limb that is fast, stable, and highly resilient under repeated shooting.

 

The 24" riser is built around a rigid FR4 core with wood scales for ascetics, creating a strong, stiff, and stable shooting platform. With a finished mass of approximately 1700 grams, the Velocity offers excellent balance and shot stability.

A deflex grip geometry further enhances forgiveness, making the bow smooth and consistent to shoot even under pressure.
