Timberpoint Traditional Archery Festival 2026
The Timberpoint Traditional Archery Festival is a celebration of unsighted, single string archery. The format is WA 3D, complete with a 2 arrow, 24 target qualification round, eliminations and finals.
Longbow and barebow are the only two bow classes.
Please note that the event is not for any specific brand of bow, all archers are welcome, no matter what brand bow you shoot.
Below is the preliminary schedule.
Friday, 28 August.
Archers start arriving. For the evening meal, we have a grill and a wood fired pizza oven. Everybody bring their own food/ pizza ingredients and we have a shared feast.
Saturday, August 29.

8:30–9:30 Registration and warm-up
9:30 Opening ceremony
10:00 Qualification round
13:00 Range closed
13:00–14:00 Lunch
14:30–16:30 Elimination rounds
17:00–18:00 Educational and useful workshop
18:00-... BBQ , pizza and chill – swimming, sauna, fun shooting, etc.
Bring swimwear and sauna gear!

Sunday, August 30

9:00–10:30 Team eliminations
11:00–12:00 Team semifinals and finals
12:00–13:00 Individual semifinals
13:00–14:00 Lunch

14:40–15:20 Longbow finals
16:00 Award ceremony
For both lunches , we get a company to do the catering. The cost is €11 per person per meal and it will be a warm meal, cake and coffee/tea/juice.
Breakfast will be €6 per per meal.
